With sweet honeybush as the foundation, they’ve layered on freeze-dried peaches and apricots along with cinnamon chips to create a blend that’s just as good to smell as it is to drink. (But you probably just want to drink it.)
I was very intrigued by this green tea blend from Zoomdweebie’s. The base is green tea (banchan, I think), and there is a huge medley of over 20 flavors added. Since each blend has different quantities of flavors, each cup tastes different.
It’s a fairly good green tea, but the fruity flavors are the star here. Try it iced and you’ll really taste the depth and nuance of flavor. It’s a lot going on, but it actually works!
Rooibos is really one of those teas that is really hard to screw up. It’s forgiving for long brewing times at high temperatures and it takes on flavors really well.
Ocean of Tea has paired up this versatile tea with marigold petals (aka calendula) and peach flavoring for this satisfying and crisp blend. If you liked the Cinnamon Peach and Apricot Honeybush I reviewed earlier, you’ll really enjoy this versatile “cousin” blend.
Bai Hao Wu Long is a Taiwanese tea that goes by many different names — oriental beauty, eastern beauty, dong fang mei ren, white tip oolong, champagne oolong, formosa bai hao, fancy formosa silver tip, formosa fancy, etc. Whatever you call it, it’s still a great cup of tea.
The champagne-colored liquor smells and tastes a lot like honey, with some subtle orange and peach flavors. (It’s complex like a darjeeling in that way.) These leaves can be steeped multiple times, so savor the flavor all day long! This would also make a really posh iced tea. Make sure to check out the health benefits too!
Maybe it’s because I’m a born and bred Southerner, but once the weather starts getting warm, I get a strong hankering for iced tea. I have a lot of teas from Zoomdweebie’s Southern Boy collection, and today I’m sampling their mango peach iced tea.
I’m picking up mango more than peach, but both flavors in this blend meld perfectly with the Indian black tea. The prep instructions are a little vague, but you can’t go wrong with cold brewing this in the fridge in a pitcher or carafe.
