Sinharaja. Doesn’t that just sound like something exotic and special? It’s the name of a rainforest reserve in Sri Lanka, and this tea is grown near there. As a Ceylon tea, this has a nice full body. But let’s see how Sinharaja is different!
After a quick steep, you’ll be rewarded with a pretty complex brew. There’s notes of raisin, honey, cocoa, berries, walnut…and they all appear based on the temperature of the tea. So I think it’s worth trying it hot and iced in order to get the full range of flavors here. Very nice!
