One common note you’ll find here on The Year of Tea is that I really like ayurvedic teas. These types of teas generally include a mixture of herbs and spices (licorice, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, pepper, cardamom) and give a sweet yet savory taste. Teavana’s White Ayurvedic Chai is no exception!
Flavor-wise, it’s very much like a lighter version of their Samurai Chai Maté. That’s not a bad thing, but it makes it hard for this tea to really stand on its own since the delicate white tea flavor is lost in the midst of all the spices.
